Winds will increase out of the west to southwest Friday afternoon and night with gusts 30-45 mph across the Columbia Basin into the Spokane area and Palouse. This may result in lightweight objects being blown around, patchy blowing dust near recently worked fields, and cross winds on north-south highways.
