Winds on Thursday and Thursday evening may gust in the 30-40 mph range for locations east of I-95. ⚠️ These strong winds will combine with higher astronomical tides due to the upcoming full "Harvest" moon to bring increasing marine and coastal impacts to our area from Thursday through Saturday. 🌊 A high risk of deadly rip currents is expected beginning early on Thursday, with rough surf potentially creating minor beach erosion around times of high tide that will likely continue through Saturday. 🚧 Minor coastal flooding will be possible around times of high tide along the Atlantic coast beginning with Thursday evening's high tide cycle, with minor flooding possible around times of high tide through the weekend. Minor tidal flooding will also be possible within the St. Johns River basin, likely beginning on Friday.
