| The Flood Watch has been extended through 1 PM for most of eastern Iowa and portions of northwest Illinois. More rainfall this morning on top of the very heavy rainfall that occurred overnight, may aggravate any ongoing flooding situations or produce new ones. Urban areas, poor drainage locations, and areas with recent heavy rain are at greatest risk for flash flooding. Several area creeks and rivers will also continue to experience significant rises and flooding today. |
