| Showers and storms are expected to increase in coverage this afternoon and evening. Initially, areas along and south of a Burlington to Princeton line will have chances for isolated severe thunderstorms with gusty winds. Towards evening, the primary threat will transition to heavy rain, which will also include areas along and south of an Ottumwa to Sterling line. 1-2 inches of rain with locally higher amounts is expected through Wednesday morning. |
