| Several low pressure systems will affect the Commonwealth early this week. All will produce periods of rain. One system already overhead Sunday afternoon will move off to our east, then another will pass just south of PA Monday night and Tuesday. A third system will probably develop off the eastern seaboard during mid-week. While most of the rain will be light to moderate, isolated thunderstorms could result in locally heavy rainfall. This might produce some localized, and mainly minor flooding. The areas that will receive the most rain over the next 3 days will be the Laurel Highlands and south-central mountains. |
