A strong system approaches Monday with rain, wind, and warmer temperatures. Rain may be locally heavy at times, with runoff helping swell streams and rivers. This will lift and move river ice, with ice jam potential greatest across the north. This system will also feature strong wind gusts, greatest along the coast and then including more of the interior Monday night. Gusts continue Tuesday, with calmer weather conditions expected mid week.
