East central Grafton County in northern New Hampshire... * Until 730 PM EDT. * At 653 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Woodstock, or 14 miles northwest of Plymouth, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Woodstock, Ellsworth, Warren, Thornton, Waterville Valley, Lincoln, Rumney, Livermore, Benton, Wentworth, Piermont, Campton, and Franconia. Information: Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. |

In northern New Hampshire, Grafton. * WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 625 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Claremont, Lebanon, Grafton, Hanover, Enfield, Canaan, Newport, Grantham, Lyme and Cornish. Information: Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become killers in heavy rains.
