After a cold start to the day, an area of rain will move across much of New Hampshire and western Maine south of the mountains. Generally one quarter to one half inch of rain is expected through this afternoon. Showers may linger across the area tonight, but most of the steady rain will be over by early evening. Sunday will be a warmer day, albeit briefly, with more afternoon showers expected. However, rainfall for Monday has trended east and instead the day looks mostly dry with the exception of scattered afternoon showers. |
